The MBA Leadership Program is designed to develop future Emerson leaders through an intensive four-year rotational period with diverse experiences. Participants will have two assignments in two locations, immersing themselves in Emerson's businesses and working directly with senior executives to contribute to the company's success while building their leadership skills. In this program, participants can expect a broad range of experiences, including challenging work opportunities that foster growth and development as future leaders. The program offers strategic role opportunities across various functions and locations, experience working with global teams, and the chance for international assignments. Ongoing executive mentorship and networking opportunities with top Emerson leaders are also integral to the program. Development is focused on both professional and personal skills through thoughtfully designed workshops at Emerson's Learning Center. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in various roles, including Strategic Planning, Strategic Supply Chain Operations, Information Systems, Human Resources, and Marketing. Each role is designed to provide exposure to different aspects of the business, allowing participants to own their career paths and identify subsequent roles that align with their skills and aspirations. The program aims to prepare participants for effective leadership roles within the organization, leveraging foundational experiences, expansive networks, and mastered competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in two assignments in two different locations to gain diverse experiences.
  • Work directly with senior executives to contribute to Emerson's success.
  • Engage in strategic planning by analyzing the positions of Emerson peers and competitors.
  • Lead and contribute to supply chain and operational modernization initiatives.
  • Define and execute strategic programs to enhance business capabilities through information technology.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Emerson's people strategy across core HR services.
  • Develop and manage marketing strategies, including market research and brand management.

Requirements

  • Recently completed or are working towards an MBA or Master's degree in a Human Resources related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and ambition to tackle complex problems.
  • Ability to acquire data from diverse sources for problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills in various settings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in product management or related fields.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and Industrial IoT.
