About the position

SimVentions is seeking an experienced MBSE Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position is integral to our Naval system engineering program development, where you will provide expertise in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and cybersecurity. In this role, you will be responsible for providing MBSE support and demonstrating fluency in SysML. You will maintain system and software design within an MBSE tool, ensuring that our systems engineering processes are aligned with best practices. Your responsibilities will include conducting SysML reviews, creating and maintaining common model profile templates, and assisting with the transition to MBSE by developing and implementing a comprehensive transition plan. Additionally, you will leverage your subject matter expertise to ensure that system design remains aligned with project requirements and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in model-based systems and digital engineering procedures, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. You will be expected to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to present complex information clearly to stakeholders. Your experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, along with your knowledge of systems engineering aspects like modeling and simulation, functional analysis, and requirements derivation, will be crucial to your success in this position. Responsibilities

• Provide MBSE support and be fluent in SysML.
• Maintain system and software design in an MBSE tool.
• Provide SysML review support.
• Create/maintain common model profile templates.
• Assist with the transition to MBSE by creating and implementing a transition plan.
• Provide subject matter expertise and systems engineering to maintain system design alignment.

Requirements

• United States Citizenship
• Minimum of 5 years of experience applying model-based systems and digital engineering procedures, processes, and methodologies/technologies.
• Certified as IAT Level II.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw and/or other SysML modeling tools.
• Experience with aspects of systems engineering such as modeling and simulation, functional analysis, and requirements derivation and traceability.
• Professional and effective interpersonal skills and the ability to provide face-to-face customer support.
