About the position

As a Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) Senior Analyst at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in helping clients address their business challenges through innovative solutions. The position is part of Deloitte's Core Business Operations (CBO) portfolio, which focuses on transforming organizations and accelerating mission execution using emerging technologies and retooled program operations. You will be responsible for developing models, architectural products, and digital artifacts for systems and System-of-Systems (SoS) in accordance with established standards and best practices. Your work will involve applying modeling techniques to support requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases. In this role, you will ensure systems interoperability and produce reports that aid in the management of MBSE and digital environment activities. You will also manage and coordinate information and resources to meet digital thread-related objectives, implementing a model-based culture that leverages the capabilities of the organization's digital enterprise environment infrastructure. Additionally, you will utilize model data to enable the creation of a digital thread across various engineering disciplines, including cyber and configuration management. Responsibilities

  • Develop models, architectural products, and digital artifacts for systems and System-of-Systems (SoS).
  • Apply modeling to support a system's or SoS' requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases.
  • Ensure systems interoperability and produce reports to support MBSE/digital environment activities and decision making.
  • Manage and coordinate information and resources to meet digital thread-related objectives.
  • Implement a model-based culture leveraging the capabilities of the digital enterprise environment infrastructure.
  • Utilize model data support to enable the creation of a digital thread across other engineering disciplines.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience in systems engineering with defense sector systems focusing on designing, integrating, and implementing complex weapons systems.
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale systems engineering projects that align with the defense sector Systems Engineering Guidebook.
  • In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best practices.
  • Experience with Digital Operating Model design and implementation.
  • Experience with Systems Modelling - SysML and UML Tools.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline.
  • Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics and performance analysis tools.
