About the position

The Hotel Manager at McMenamins Hotel Oregon is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. This role emphasizes community engagement, employee development, and the promotion of McMenamins' unique offerings, including handcrafted beverages and pub fare.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Manage staff and provide training and support to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Maintain inventory and manage supplies for the hotel.
  • Collaborate with other locations and departments within McMenamins.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service and hotel experience required.
  • Knowledge of and comfort with computers.
  • Flexible scheduling availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
