About the position

The MCFR Project Manager position at TerraPower involves supporting the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor (MCFR) program by assisting the Principal Project Manager in managing various projects. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders, project planning, coordination of tasks, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will contribute to the advancement of nuclear technology and medical isotopes, aligning with TerraPower's mission to improve global living standards through innovative energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
• Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects
• Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
• Analyzing data as required
• Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices and drawing estimates
• Tracking and reporting project progress
• Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical or project management role
• Experience with developing project budgets and schedules
• Clear communication, strategic thinking, and organization skills
• Ability to adapt to and rapidly learn new software and processes
• Demonstrated ability to understand objectives and improve processes
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• PMP or AACE certification preferred
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA preferred
• Strong technical background, including engineering management
