About the position

The MDM/Data Governance Manager at Intelecox is responsible for overseeing Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance initiatives within the Pharma/Life Sciences sector. This role involves defining and implementing data quality and governance strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing customer data effectively. The position requires collaboration with IT and business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, while also maintaining high standards of data quality and integration.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and communicate a comprehensive data quality and governance roadmap, including test automation and data remediation processes.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to establish key data quality routines and process-level controls as needed.
• Ensure data compliance with relevant regulations and identify training needs for data users.
• Design and document architecture across multiple levels and views (conceptual, logical, physical), including data flow and sequence diagrams.
• Translate business requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions.
• Manage pharmaceutical customer data, including HCP (Healthcare Provider) and HCO (Healthcare Organization) data.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to demonstrate data assessment and integration for Informatica MDM.
• Address data integration challenges, manage exception handling, and maintain customer data quality post-integration.
• Possess hands-on experience with AWS and programming; solid knowledge of Big Data frameworks and technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and NoSQL.
• Skilled in Python and SQL, with experience in implementing solutions using these languages.
• Capable of handling large patient data sets (e.g., EMR, claims data, APLD) independently.

Requirements

• 5-12 years in Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance within the Pharma/Life Sciences sector.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or IT, or a Master's in Pharmacy with relevant industry experience.
• Graduate-level certification or program in AI/ML from a recognized institution, or equivalent post-graduate qualification in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in data and analytics, including automation, data verification, data management, and remediation.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.

Nice-to-haves

• 5-12+ years of validated experience in life sciences and healthcare commercial analytics is advantageous.
• Exposure to large data sets on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
