About the position
The MDS Nurse (RNAC) position at Riverside Health & Rehab Center is primarily responsible for completing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process in compliance with state and federal regulations. This part-time role offers flexible dayshift hours and emphasizes the importance of quality care for residents, while also providing a supportive work environment that values employee contributions.
Responsibilities
- Complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process according to state and federal regulations.
- Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for quality care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding resident conditions and care plans.
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing and medical practices relevant to long-term care facilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to nursing care guidelines.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of practice.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, and the general public.
- Experience with the RAI process preferred (1 year).
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
