About the position

The MDS Support Analyst (QA Systems Analyst) at Merieux NutriSciences plays a crucial role in supporting the daily activities related to the review and maintenance of recipe data for Restaurant Brands International (RBI) in North America. This position involves collaborating with various brand teams to ensure accurate and timely entry of menu item recipe information, coordinating updates for existing items, and deactivating outdated menu items. The analyst will also gain expertise in internal data management tools and assist brand teams with troubleshooting recipe accuracy issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support Brand teams with timely and accurate entry of menu item recipe information for new launches.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Brand teams to complete relevant updates for existing menu items to ensure the most current and accurate ingredient and recipe data is reflected.
  • Coordinate with Brand teams to complete deactivation of menu items that are no longer active within restaurants.
  • Gain expertise with internal data management tools and support Brand teams with troubleshooting ad hoc concerns related to recipe accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Food Science, Nutrition Science, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of progressive work experience in a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to interpret technical data.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Advanced computer skills (i.e., Excel, Tableau) preferred.
  • Experience with custom large database systems preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of database management principles, including experience with developing training materials and SOPs.
  • General understanding of food ingredients and recipe formats (units, quantities).
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a global team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
