TikTok is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its team, focusing on measurement partnerships that are crucial for accelerating global sales of TikTok's paid media offerings. This role involves building product solutions that enable brands to effectively invest in TikTok ads. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with leading measurement companies, integrating their services with the TikTok ads platform. The team operates with a start-up mentality, characterized by entrepreneurial spirit and a forward-thinking approach. In this position, the manager will collaborate closely with partners in the data, measurement, and analytics sectors, as well as various internal stakeholders including product, strategy, legal, and marketing teams. The goal is to develop innovative ways for consumers to engage with products and services they love, ultimately driving impact for TikTok and its community.

Responsibilities

  • Source, qualify and evaluate new partnerships that fit into overall data and measurement needs.
  • Manage full procurement and contracting phases, including coordination with internal teams for product fit, impact potential and priority.
  • Develop direct and active relationships with strategic measurement partners in the digital ads industry, including onboarding and contract work, proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues.
  • Define complex programs and integration paths with strategic partners to enable TikTok advertising, discovery, commerce, and creator monetization at scale.
  • Represent TikTok in external meetings with executives from other companies while displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of client-facing experience in partnerships and business development.
  • Experience sourcing new business opportunities in a fast-paced technical environment and as part of an international team.
  • Strong adtech background.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority.
  • Quantitative and analytical expertise.
