About the position

As a Business Development Manager for Monetization Product Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the global sales of TikTok's paid media offerings. This position focuses on building product solutions that enable brands to invest in TikTok ads effectively. You will be responsible for fostering strategic relationships with industry-leading measurement companies and integrating their services with the TikTok ads platform. In this role, you will work directly with partners in the data, measurement, and analytics ecosystems, collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders, including product, strategy, legal, partner activation & enablement, and marketing. Your efforts will help develop innovative ways for consumers to interact with products, services, and experiences they love. As a Business Development Manager, you will source, qualify, and evaluate new partnerships that align with TikTok's overall data and measurement needs. You will manage the full procurement and contracting phases, ensuring that partnerships are beneficial and impactful. Your role will also involve defining complex programs and integration paths with strategic partners to enable TikTok advertising, discovery, commerce, and creator monetization at scale. Representing TikTok in external meetings with executives from other companies, you will uphold the highest standards of personal integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Source, qualify and evaluate new partnerships that fit into overall data and measurement needs.
  • Manage full procurement and contracting phases, including coordination with internal teams for product fit, impact potential and priority.
  • Develop direct and active relationships with strategic measurement partners in the digital ads industry, including onboarding and contract work, proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues.
  • Define complex programs and integration paths with strategic partners to enable TikTok advertising, discovery, commerce, and creator monetization at scale.
  • Represent TikTok in external meetings with executives from other companies while displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of client-facing experience in partnerships and business development.
  • Experience sourcing new business opportunities in a fast-paced technical environment and as part of an international team.
  • Strong adtech background.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority.
  • Quantitative and analytical expertise.
