We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team, focusing on measurement partnerships that are crucial for accelerating the global sales of TikTok's paid media offerings. In this role, you will work with measurement partners to build products that showcase the value of advertising on TikTok. As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities centered around product solutions that enable brands to invest in TikTok ads. You will be expected to build and maintain strategic relationships with industry-leading measurement companies, integrating their services with the TikTok ads platform. The culture of our team is akin to that of a small start-up, filled with entrepreneurs and leaders who are always looking ahead. You will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, including product, strategy, legal, partner activation & enablement, and marketing, to create innovative ways for consumers to engage with products and services they love. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, qualifying, and evaluating new partnerships that align with our data and measurement needs, managing the procurement and contracting phases, and developing direct relationships with strategic measurement partners in the digital ads industry. You will also define complex programs and integration paths with these partners to enable TikTok advertising, discovery, commerce, and creator monetization at scale. Representing TikTok in external meetings with executives from other companies, you will uphold the highest standards of personal integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Source, qualify and evaluate new partnerships that fit into overall data and measurement needs.
  • Manage full procurement and contracting phases, including coordination with internal teams for product fit, impact potential and priority.
  • Develop direct and active relationships with strategic measurement partners in the digital ads industry, including onboarding and contract work, proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues.
  • Define complex programs and integration paths with strategic partners to enable TikTok advertising, discovery, commerce, and creator monetization at scale.
  • Represent TikTok in external meetings with executives from other companies while displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of client-facing experience in partnerships and business development.
  • Experience sourcing new business opportunities in a fast-paced technical environment and as part of an international team.
  • Strong adtech background.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority.
  • Quantitative and analytical expertise.
