In this role, the Meat Manager will demonstrate teamwork and provide friendly, efficient customer service. They will effectively communicate with customers, respond to inquiries, and operate various equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA guidelines. The Meat Manager will also be responsible for product presentation, rotation, labeling, and replenishment, ensuring that inventory levels are monitored through frequent cycle counts. Maintaining cleanliness standards and assisting with hiring and scheduling needs are also key responsibilities of this position. The Meat Manager will utilize their selling skills to secure additional sales and employ suggestive selling techniques to enhance product sales. They will monitor product quality, communicate any issues related to code dating, and work to minimize losses. This position requires a proactive approach to planning work duties and assisting team members as needed, all while adhering to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
