About the position

As a Meat/Produce Team Associate at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the Fresh area of the store. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that the meat and produce sections are fully stocked and that products are rotated to maintain freshness. You will be responsible for adhering to proper food safety standards while moving incoming merchandise to the sales floor. Throughout the day, you will ensure that Fresh displays are well-maintained and organized, providing customers with a pleasant shopping experience. This position requires a commitment to quality and customer service, as you will be the face of the Fresh department, interacting with customers and assisting them as needed. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring you to be efficient and attentive to detail to meet the demands of the store and its customers.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Fresh area fully stocked with meat and produce items.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Maintain proper food safety standards at all times.
• Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor efficiently.
• Ensure Fresh displays are maintained and organized throughout the day.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
