About the position
The Meat/Produce Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Fresh area in a Walmart Supercenter, ensuring that products are fully stocked, rotated, and meet food safety standards. This role involves maintaining Fresh displays and managing the team to ensure efficient operations throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Meat/Produce associates to ensure proper stocking and rotation of products.
- Maintain food safety standards in the Fresh area.
- Ensure Fresh displays are well-maintained and organized throughout the day.
- Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor in a timely manner.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role or in the meat/produce department.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in retail management.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
