About the position

The Meat/Produce Team Trainer at Walmart is responsible for overseeing the Fresh area, ensuring that products are fully stocked, rotated, and maintained according to food safety standards. This role involves moving incoming merchandise to the sales floor and maintaining Fresh displays throughout the day, while also training and guiding team members in these tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the stocking and rotation of meat and produce products in the Fresh area.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper display maintenance.
• Train and guide team members on best practices for stocking and maintaining Fresh displays.
• Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in retail or grocery operations, particularly in meat and produce departments.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
• Ability to train and mentor team members effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or training role.
