The Meat Team Member at Wegmans plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to customers while ensuring the availability of fresh meat products. This position involves educating customers about various types and cuts of meat, maintaining stock levels, and preparing items for display. Responsibilities
- Provide incredible service to our customers
- Keep our shelves and service counter stocked with fresh products
- Take orders and prepare items for display by cutting, packaging, and labeling products
- May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory
Requirements
- Passion for food and customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of meat products and cuts is a plus
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a retail or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices
