Requirements

• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

• Qualified and able to operate power and various job tools (automatic wrapper, slicer, grinder, power saw, etc.).
• Must work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations.

• Meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.
• Past work record reflects dependability and integrity.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, OSHA compliance, food handling, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display meat items for sale in accordance with company standards and policies.
• Wait on customers and provide customer services.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and safety, and properly rotate merchandise.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and well organized.
• Unload trucks, sort, and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Wash and sanitize equipment in accordance with company and Health Department policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and freshness in display cases.
• Provide good customer and associate relations.
• Demonstrate the company's leadership behaviors and core values.
