About the position

The Packaging Mechanic Level II at PCI Pharma Services is responsible for performing mechanical and electrical equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on packaging machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and adherence to safety and quality standards in a GMP environment. The position requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical equipment repairs and troubleshooting on packaging machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities and corrective troubleshooting on machinery.
• Execute equipment changeovers and minor fabrication of machine parts as needed.
• Maintain records and documentation as required by company policies.
• Provide guidance, assistance, and training to other personnel in their duties.
• Operate and interface with on-line computers and machinery controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Level 1 mechanic or equivalent proficiency in packaging or mechanical maintenance.
• Demonstrated understanding of equipment troubleshooting and changeovers.
• Preferred industrial maintenance certificate or documentation of internal training.
