About the position

The position requires a skilled individual with experience in building trades, particularly in mechanical repair and rotating equipment. The role involves responding to emergencies, performing manual labor, and working in various weather conditions. The candidate must be able to read schematics and engineering prints, and utilize a work management system for time entry and updates.

Responsibilities

• Respond to company emergencies by performing system emergency assignments to restore service to customers.
• Work at field locations in all weather conditions.
• Perform extended driving through heavy traffic and severe off-road conditions.
• Carry tools and materials, climb ladders and scaffolds, and enter confined spaces.
• Perform heavy manual labor, including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work in environments that include heat, noise, confined spaces, and high elevations.
• Climb ladders and stairs, and work on elevated platforms, scaffolds, catwalks, roofs, or equipment.
• Work in inclement weather and adverse conditions, such as excessive heat, cold, and noise.
• Work with and in the vicinity of high voltage and/or other high-energy systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in building trades and ability to read schematics and engineering prints required.
• Driver's License required.
• Ability to use work management system Maximo for time entry and updates to work orders preferred.
• Experience in rotating equipment and mechanical repair preferred.
• EPA universal certification and R410A Technician certification preferred.
