About the position
The Mechanic position in Facility Operations at Bethesda West involves performing a variety of maintenance functions within the hospital complex. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on hospital facilities and equipment.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance checks and repairs on various systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid Florida Driver's License.
- Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility maintenance role.
- Certifications in HVAC or electrical systems.
