About the position
The position involves the day-to-day planning and execution of maintenance and repairs for vehicles and equipment. The role is critical in ensuring that all machinery is functioning properly and efficiently, contributing to the overall operational success of the company.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for day to day planning of vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs
- Determine nature and extent of damage or malfunction
- Discuss with manager the repair or service needed
- Order parts
- Perform required repairs or preventative maintenance
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of construction equipment, small engine equipment and trucks
- Experience working with hydraulics
- Ability to work on trailers and heavy equipment
- Ability to drive and operate various vehicles and equipment
- Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
- Ability to weld and fabricate
- 1-3 years related work experience
- Willing to travel out of town and stay overnight on occasion
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Must have your own tools
