About the position

The Mechanical Account Manager II will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing relationships with mechanical contractors, focusing on the promotion, sale, and support of our commercial water heating products. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, coupled with strong sales and relationship-building skills. The successful candidate will adopt a proactive approach to customer service, ensuring that contractors are well-informed and supported in their endeavors to increase revenue through the effective use of Rheem water heating products. In this role, the Mechanical Account Manager will be tasked with identifying key contractors within a designated region, specifically the DC/Virginia/Maryland area. The manager will educate these contractors on the benefits of utilizing Rheem products, employing a good, better, best approach to demonstrate how our offerings can enhance their business operations. Additionally, the position involves providing ongoing support and training to contractors, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to succeed in selling and promoting our products. This position is integral to Rheem's Commercial Water Division, located in the East Region, and requires a candidate who is not only knowledgeable about mechanical systems but also possesses the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with contractors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of Rheem's commercial water heating product line.
