About the position

The Mechanical Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with mechanical contractors, ensuring the successful promotion, sale, and support of our commercial water heating products. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems, strong sales and relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to customer service. The Mechanical Account Manager will identify key contractors within a specific region and educate them on how to increase their revenue with Rheem water heating products by utilizing the good, better, best approach. Additionally, this role provides support and ongoing training for contractors within the assigned region. This position will serve Rheem's Commercial Water Division in the West region, and the ideal candidate would be located in the Southern California area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with mechanical contractors.
  • Promote and sell commercial water heating products.
  • Educate contractors on increasing revenue with Rheem products using the good, better, best approach.
  • Provide ongoing support and training for contractors in the assigned region.
  • Identify key contractors within the specific region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Proven sales experience in a related industry.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive customer service approach.
