Responsibilities

• Fabrication of ductwork and piping prefabrication including forming, burning, knock down, and pre-assembly of sheet metal.
• Cutting pipe, layout connections, plans, and hanger assembly.
• Plan, layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines using machinery and hand tools.
• Cut out sheet metal using plasma machines, hydraulic shears, and hand tools.
• Shape sheet metal using mechanical or hydraulic breaks, rollers, and hand tools.
• Inspect ductwork and plumbing assemblies for accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and shop, making repairs and modifications when necessary.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in construction (preferred).
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Ability to stand for 90% of the day.
• Ability to work with ongoing exposure to loud noise.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Highly reliable and punctual.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Team player with the ability to work well with others.
