About the position

Metal Goods Manufacturing (MGM) is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler and Inspector to join their team in Bartlesville, OK. This full-time position involves both quality control inspection and product assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring the quality of products meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform weld and fabrication inspections on welded items.
• Conduct incoming inspections on purchased parts and in-process inspections on subassemblies and finished goods.
• Execute final inspections for customer orders and identify nonconforming products.
• Collaborate with departments to address corrective actions for quality issues.
• Perform pre-production quality checks according to company drawings.
• Conduct periodic quality inspections throughout the production run.
• Read and interpret production work orders and job travelers.
• Assemble manufactured and purchased components into finished parts.
• Maintain digital production and test records and ensure a clean work area.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in assembly and quality control testing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings.
• Prior experience inspecting welds is preferred.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work productively and unsupervised.
• Experience using a variety of hand tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
