About the position

KVAL Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Builder to join their manufacturing team in Hutto, TX. The role involves mechanically building machinery according to manuals, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring precision and quality in the assembly process. The position offers a full-time schedule with opportunities for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically build machinery per manuals, blueprints, and specifications.
• Run airlines in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, air tools, tapping, and drilling.
• Employ precision tools and measurements for accurate assembly.

Requirements

• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision tooling.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the mechanical trade.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Proficient in using a tape measure.
• Mechanical vocational training is a plus.
• Some minimal travel may be required.
• Troubleshooting abilities are essential.
• Electrical and manual machining experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Must be able to pass a background check and legally work in the US.
• Ability to lift up to approximately 70 pounds.
• Capable of standing for long periods.
