About the position

Encoris is seeking a full-time Mechanical CAD Designer to join their team. The role involves designing and manufacturing anatomical models for the medical device industry, focusing on both aesthetic qualities and functional design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD, particularly with SolidWorks, and will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and drawings, as well as communicating with customers throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Building 3D models and displays.
• Communicating with customers throughout the projects.
• Creating and understanding detailed CAD drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Running 3D printers.
• Assisting with CNC mill programming.
• 3D print post-processing.
• Manufacturing problem solving and finding efficiencies.

Requirements

• CAD experience is required.
• 3-5+ years of corporate CAD experience is required.
• SolidWorks fluency is required.
• 2 years of mechanical design preferred.
