The Mechanical Data Center Commissioning Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of mechanical systems within data centers and mission-critical facilities. This position involves supporting the development of mechanical test schedules, finalizing mechanical test procedures, and reviewing project submittals to ensure consistency with design intent and the owner's project requirements. The successful candidate will maintain project cadence for mechanical systems testing and associated Building Automation Systems, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and in compliance with applicable standards. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of commissioning activities for the mechanical infrastructure of mission-critical facilities. This includes providing hands-on functional testing of building systems, troubleshooting issues, and resolving any problems that arise during the commissioning process. You will also be tasked with ensuring quality assurance for Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) of air and hydronic systems, as well as for building automated controls systems. The position requires a strong understanding of the commissioning process as per ASHRAE guidelines and standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplined team of specialists to deliver projects that exceed client expectations.
