About The Position

The Mechanical Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of mechanical construction projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and completion. This role involves financial tracking, coordination with various teams, and maintaining client relationships to ensure satisfaction and future opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required if trade experience is present.
• 5+ years of prior Project Manager work experience with a commercial mechanical subcontractor.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and plan all aspects of mechanical construction projects.
• Track and forecast financials related to projects.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, fabrication and detailing personnel, and project engineers.
• Manage project schedules and handle change management.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors involved in projects.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors.
• Attend project meetings to discuss progress and issues.
• Mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Maintain client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
