About the position

The Sustaining Engineer at PSG Cincinnati will be a key member of the Engineering Team, responsible for the development of new product projects related to chemical dispensers and similar products. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, innovative mechanical designs that are cost-effective and easy to manufacture. The engineer will manage projects from ideation to production, utilizing strong analytical and experimental skills to solve engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver innovative mechanical designs for chemical dispensers and similar products.
• Manage projects from ideation through to production in a predictable manner.
• Create, modify, and maintain complex design files (3D & 2D) using CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
• Investigate opportunities and implement productivity and cost-saving projects.
• Validate solutions using proven engineering techniques such as FEA, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Effectively communicate technical information both orally and in writing to peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design.
• Knowledge of plastic materials, fluid mechanics, and other mechanical engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with CAD, preferably SolidWorks, and static and dynamic FEA.
• Strong analytical and experimental skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
