Honeywell's Environment and Infrastructure team is seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Design Engineer - Cryogenic Systems and Components to join our team in Broomfield, CO. This position involves developing thermo-mechanical components specifically designed for use in cryogenic environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with scientists and other engineers to develop cryogenic systems and environments, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary specifications and requirements. A key aspect of this role is the creation of clear and concise documentation of cryogenic systems and components for both internal and external stakeholders, which is essential for effective communication and project management. Additionally, the engineer will work cross-functionally to meet customer objectives, ensuring that all projects align with client needs and expectations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience using CAD for 3D design work. Candidates should also have experience designing for manufacturability and assembly, as well as a background in research and development environments. US Citizenship is required due to contractual obligations, and the position may involve obtaining or maintaining a security clearance. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,800.00 to $101,000.00, depending on various factors including experience and market considerations.
