In this position, you will work closely with experienced engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients, ensuring positive outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You will utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations that adhere to code requirements and IMEG standards. This role requires effective communication with clients to understand their needs and gather project requirements, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. As part of your responsibilities, you will assist in project planning and scheduling tasks to meet deadlines, document design decisions, and monitor project design progress. You will analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions while participating in IMEG's quality control processes to ensure that all engineering designs meet industry standards and client requirements. Staying up to date with industry trends and contributing to research and development efforts will also be key aspects of your role. Safety is a priority, and you will be expected to identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with mechanical systems.
