The Mechanical Design Engineer with Creo will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the design and development of mechanical systems and components. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and hands-on experience with CAD tools, particularly Creo. The engineer will engage in problem identification and requirement analysis, collaborating effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers throughout the project lifecycle. The position involves working on complex sub-systems and components for new product development, as well as upgrading and modifying existing modules. In addition to design and detailing of components using metals, plastics, and ceramics, the engineer will manage the Bill of Materials (BOM), configuration management, and engineering change management during the product lifecycle. The role also includes performing hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structures, frames, modules, and components as needed. The engineer will be responsible for selecting standard OEM components such as bearings, O-rings, gearboxes, motors, and pneumatic and electrical actuators. Furthermore, preparation of technical documents, including manuals, instructions, reports, and maintenance sheets, is a key aspect of this position.
