About the position

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in product design and conveyor system development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, detailing, and laying out conveyor components, platforms, drive systems, and other mechanical elements essential to conveyor systems. This position involves collaborating with our engineering team to create innovative designs that meet customer requirements and optimize performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for conveyor components, platforms, and drive systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Create and modify 3D models using Autodesk Inventor to visualize and simulate conveyor layouts, ensuring efficiency and practicality in design.
• Produce accurate 2D layouts and detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD to support manufacturing and installation processes.
• Generate precise and clear documentation, including assembly instructions and parts lists, to support production teams in constructing and assembling conveyor systems.
• Work closely with project managers, production teams, and clients to align design solutions with project objectives, troubleshoot design challenges, and ensure optimal results.
• Conduct design reviews and participate in testing to verify that components and systems meet performance, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
• Demonstrated experience in conveyor system design or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
