About the position

The Mechanical Design Engineer role involves designing and developing conveyor systems and components, ensuring that designs meet customer requirements and optimize performance. The position requires collaboration with engineering teams to create innovative solutions and includes responsibilities such as 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for conveyor components, platforms, and drive systems according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Create and modify 3D models using Autodesk Inventor to visualize and simulate conveyor layouts.
• Produce accurate 2D layouts and detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD to support manufacturing and installation processes.
• Generate precise documentation, including assembly instructions and parts lists, for production teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and clients to align design solutions with project objectives and troubleshoot design challenges.
• Conduct design reviews and participate in testing to verify that components and systems meet performance, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
• Demonstrated experience in conveyor system design or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
