About the position

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for performing mechanical CAD design and drafting, with a focus on 3D modeling. The role involves creating E/M assembly drawings for equipment and ensuring manufacturability. The engineer will collaborate closely with the Senior Engineering team to recommend changes for building and manufacturing equipment. This position is project-based with the potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical CAD design and drafting.
• Create 3D models as needed.
• Develop E/M assembly drawings for equipment.
• Collaborate with the Senior Engineering team on change recommendations for equipment manufacturing.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• Engineering or Associate's degree with relevant experience.
