About the position

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of new products, focusing on packaging design and heat management. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including developing project requirements, creating project timelines and reports, and conducting and participating in design reviews. The engineer will also be involved in building and testing prototypes, creating comprehensive documentation packages, and ensuring that the project follows through to manufacturing for successful product deployment. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with other engineers to achieve project goals effectively. In this role, the Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the design meet the necessary specifications and standards. The engineer will be expected to utilize software tools such as Inventor and Solidworks to create detailed designs and models. Additionally, the position requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to apply them in practical scenarios. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements

• 5 years of Mechanical Design experience.
• 2 year degree in Mechanical Design required; 4 year engineering degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Inventor and Solidworks.
