About The Position
The Mechanical Design Systems Engineer will be an integral part of the sort center team, focusing on the design of material handling equipment such as conveyor belts and other machinery. This role involves writing RFPs, collaborating with vendors for site selection, and overseeing the engineering design process through to execution. The position requires hands-on design experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on various design disciplines including automotive and warehouse systems.
