About the position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team, responsible for designing ductwork, piping, and HVAC systems for commercial and hospitality projects. The role involves developing layouts in AutoCAD for electrical circuits and systems, performing local site surveys, and marking up current floor plans. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, contributing to the growth and development of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Design ductwork, piping, and HVAC systems for commercial and hospitality projects.
  • Develop layouts in AutoCAD for electrical circuits and systems for power distribution and mechanical systems.
  • Perform local site surveys of mechanical and electrical layouts.
  • Mark up current floor plans.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience in MEP drafting and designing ductwork and piping systems.
  • 1+ years of experience in mechanical drafting and design.
  • Minimum of a CAD certificate.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Revit.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience is more valuable than a degree.
