About the position

As the Mechanical Drafter/Designer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering team, focusing on product sustainability, customized product development, and new product development. Your primary responsibilities will include modeling and drafting product designs and drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will also be tasked with processing Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and updating the Bill of Materials (BOM). In addition to drafting, you will conduct product testing and perform root cause analysis to ensure the quality and functionality of the products you design. The products you will be working on are primarily heating, cooling, and refrigeration solutions tailored for the food and beverage industry. This role is designed for entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow within a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Model and draft product designs and drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Process Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Update Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Test products and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to support product sustainability and development.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in CAD or a related field, or equivalent job experience in SolidWorks/AutoCAD drafting/design in sheet metal.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical wiring knowledge.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Strong computer skills.
