About the position
As a Mechanical Designer/Engineer at Cushing Terrell, you will be responsible for designing HVAC and plumbing systems for retail clients. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to create innovative built environments that enhance community living. You will leverage your technical expertise and creativity to deliver high-quality mechanical designs while collaborating with other professionals across various locations.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC and/or Plumbing systems for retail clients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and designers.
- Conduct site verifications and field surveys as needed.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in HVAC and/or plumbing disciplines.
- Proficient in Revit building information modeling software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software products.
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative to deliver high-quality designs.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Retail grocery HVAC or plumbing design experience.
