About the position

The Mechanical Drafter position at Fluidra involves supporting the engineering team by creating detailed designs of components and assemblies. The role requires the development and maintenance of product instructions and engineering documentation, as well as collaboration with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure the accuracy of drawings and specifications. Responsibilities

• Create moderately complex 3D models and related 2D CAD drawings for engineering and manufacturing.
• Work closely with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy of drawings and specifications.
• Complete first article and incoming quality inspections.
• Review, write, and edit engineering documentation, including product user manuals and test reports.
• Assist engineers with product testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting.
• Strong skills in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ERP software and MS Office.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Associate degree in engineering technology or a similar technical degree.
