About the position

Join our team in the bearing manufacturing industry as a Mechanical Drafter. This hybrid role combines drafting and technician responsibilities, requiring proficiency in CAD duties (AutoCAD and SolidWorks), and hands-on experience with various products. You will be responsible for completing repair dispositions on new and used customer-supplied bearings and seals.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform CAD duties using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Complete repair dispositions on new and used customer-supplied bearings and seals.
• Reverse engineer customer-supplied parts utilizing precision measuring instruments.
• Use and read micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Generate drawings for new replicated parts such as bearings and seals.
• Work with 2D and 3D modeling, and use hand tools including precision tools, calibers, and high gauges.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment for at least 3 years.
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling.
• Experience with reverse engineering and repair disposition.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as micrometers and calipers.
