About the position

The Mechanical Drafter at Fluidra will support the engineering team by detailing designs of components and assemblies, developing and maintaining product instructions, and other engineering documentation. This role involves creating 3D models and 2D CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy in collaboration with purchasing and manufacturing teams, and assisting engineers with product testing.

Responsibilities

• Create moderately complex 3D models and related 2D CAD drawings for engineering and manufacturing.
• Work closely with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy of drawings and specifications.
• Complete first article and incoming quality inspections.
• Review, write, and edit engineering documentation, including product user manuals and test reports.
• Assist engineers with product testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting.
• Strong skills in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in ERP and MS Office software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Associate degree in engineering technology or similar technical degree.
