The Mechanical Drafter at Fluidra North America plays a crucial role in supporting the engineering team by detailing designs of components and assemblies. This position involves creating 3D models and 2D CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy in specifications, and maintaining engineering documentation. The role requires collaboration with purchasing and manufacturing teams, as well as assisting engineers with product testing.

Responsibilities

• Create moderately complex 3D models and related 2D CAD drawings for engineering and manufacturing.
• Work closely with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy of drawings and specifications.
• Complete first article and incoming quality inspections.
• Review, write, and edit engineering documentation, including product user manuals and test reports.
• Assist engineers with product testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong skills in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in ERP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Associate degree in engineering technology or a similar technical degree.
