About The Position

B & H Labeling Systems is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join their team in Ceres, California. This full-time position involves creating and maintaining mechanical drawings, bills of materials, and supporting documentation. The role requires collaboration with Sales and Engineering to convert sales orders into engineering parts releases, as well as training with the Quality Manager to inspect machine components. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and willing to learn about documentation and quality control.

Requirements

• 2-year certificate in mechanical drafting or closely related field preferred, but experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical drafting required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management.
• Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with CAD applications, specifically AutoCAD, is required.
• Computer literate in spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain mechanical drawings and bills of materials.
• Compile and prepare supporting documentation including manuals.
• Organize digital documentation.
