About the position

The Mechanical/Electrical Building Manager at Consolidated Nuclear Security will play a crucial role in supporting the leadership team of the Uranium Processing Facility (UPF). This position involves overseeing the operational turnover of equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with nuclear readiness requirements, and managing the technical specifications for the Mechanical/Electrical Building (MEB). The manager will also be responsible for procedural development, stakeholder assessments, and representing senior management on various technical matters.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the UPF Asset Management Senior Manager.
• Work with the UPF project team and project turnover manager on equipment and system technical requirements.
• Ensure a detailed review of MEB process, system, and equipment designs and changes.
• Own and ensure policy and procedural development for MEB equipment and systems.
• Perform verification/validation of items to meet nuclear readiness requirements.
• Assess procedural requirements across various stakeholder organizations.
• Provide input to the UPF Project Team to ensure technical specifications are met.
• Determine programmatic objectives and recommend procedural improvements.
• Represent senior management on technical matters concerning MEB data analysis and cost analysis.
• Manage direct reports supporting the UPF Mechanical/Electrical Building.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Must meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance.
