As a Mechanical Engineer, specifically in the role of Failure Analysis Engineer, you will play a crucial part in our operations by designing equipment, analyzing modifications, managing projects, and producing comprehensive documentation. This position is full-time on the 1st shift, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of weekend work as needed. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating and documenting existing processes through failure analysis and testing, which encompasses regression testing and system testing. You will collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to identify and resolve failure causes effectively. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing new processes and tools aimed at improving quality and processing speed. Providing support to operations and engineering teams is essential, as you will troubleshoot and resolve issues while ensuring that all changes are adequately tested. You will also recommend modifications based on prototype test results, taking into account factors such as cost, safety, and time constraints. Developing detailed test documentation and ensuring the accuracy, quality, and completeness of all engineering documentation will be key aspects of your role.
