About the position

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join their Energy Solutions office in Louisville, KY. This role is integral to the performance contracting division, focusing on sustainable building engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, assisting in various phases of projects, including conducting audits, energy analysis, and report writing. The position is ideal for self-motivated individuals with a strong technical background, particularly in HVAC design and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits
• Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
• Write reports on various aspects of the project
• Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm is preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
