About the position

CMTA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its Energy Solutions division in Fairfax, VA. This role involves supporting the project manager in various tasks related to energy analysis, building audits, and report writing. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and has a strong technical background, particularly in HVAC design and commissioning, to transition into energy engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits
• Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
• Write reports on various aspects of the project
• Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
